Lisbon, Portugal – (September 2018) the first time we came to Lisbon I put us in the graffiti section without knowing and loved it! We also saw some faro music in the streets, went to Rossio Square, checked out the Alfama district, and went to Sao Jorge Castle. We ate at the time out market cause everyone we know who has been to Lisbon told us too- now they have a few in the US

Sintra, Portugal– (September 2019) it’s about an hour train ride to Sintra- we did this as a day trip but wish we did this as an overnight- there was so much to see and it was way cooler than I thought it was gonna be- a bus takes you to each stop and you pay one fee to hop on and off the bus- you can do a private tour but the bus was perfect – it is a loop and you can only take it once or you can pay to get back on if you miss anything

First stop for us was Peña Palace – I think it is the second stop on the bus – you have to pay to enter the palace – around 7 euros- or you can skip the line and walk the outside of the palace- we went in but would of been just as happy to walk the outside

Second stop was Moors Castle – it looks like a mini Great Wall- i loved walking along this – it’s about 8 euros to enter- what a way to defend Peña Palace

Our third and final stop was Quinta Da Regaleira – this was our favorite stop- it felt like something out of the movie Pans Labyrinth- it was so magical – you can explore the gardens and it is about 10 euros to enter

Lagos, Portugal– (September 2019) this is a cute beach town- little more pricey than Lisbon- but worth every penny! The beach’s here are incredible- they were all walking distance from town and not super crowded

Benagil Cave- We did have to rent a car to get to Benagil Cave- we rental a paddle board cause the only way to get inside is by paddleboard or kayak- the ocean waves are pretty wild getting in and so out so be prepared! We wiped out getting in and barely made it out haha- made for great laughs and stories at dinner

Porto, Portugal- (September 2019) Porto is knows for its Port wine and you gotta do a wine tasting- also sunsets from the top of the hill, and walk around eating everything and soaking up the vibe that is Porto – also try one of their hot dogs called a cachorrinhos – the best place to get one is https://www.cervejariagazela.pt/ – we also visited the Livraria Lello – it’s a famous gorgeous bookstore
