La Paz- (October 2007) it is the highest capital in the world at 11,942 feet – so wild! We came from Peru and have been in altitude for 2 weeks so this didn’t effect us- but if you fly in from sea level take it easy – we only had 2 days here but if we had longer we would of went to the salt flats – we did however get a chance to go to the Moon Valley, take a hike and explore the markets and witches market – other people from our group did a bike ride on the death road- the deadliest road in the world
